Design and development of the main site for Christie's affiliate in Czech Republic

The Challenge

‍Svoboda & Williams isn't just another real estate agency; they are a love brand and a market leader in premium properties. This status comes with massive responsibility and traffic exceeding 10 million views annually. Before our collaboration, the website struggled with performance. Despite the strong brand, pages weren't loading fast enough, and Core Web Vitals were stuck in the red, threatening both organic reach and user experience. We faced the task of combining visually rich content full of high-resolution photography with uncompromising speed, all while executing a complete tech refresh of an outdated frontend.

The Process

‍We didn't start with mindless coding but with a detailed analysis of user behavior, because technology must adapt to the business. Our UX team dove deep into the data to understand how visitors navigate the site and exactly what they are looking for. Based on this data, we overhauled the filtering system and designed new user paths that respond to real demand, not just assumptions. A major client rebrand also entered the process. We implemented a new visual identity built on modern sans-serif typography and calm colors—blue, white, and gold. We crafted the design to be timeless, clean, and above all, accessible, thereby strengthening brand recognition in the market.

The Solution

‍To achieve the required speed and stability, we decided on a radical cut and rewrote the frontend from the original Symfony to the more modern Laravel. This move allowed us to simplify the architecture and optimize the loading of tens of thousands of subpages. The result is a website that meets strict Core Web Vitals criteria and shines in green numbers, without us having to compromise on visual quality. We connected the entire portal ecosystem, including the Slovak version and the FeelHome project, to the administration interface using our own custom-built data bridge. This ensures smooth data flow and seamless operation, completely independent of manual administrative oversight. Right on the frontend, we control exactly what different user roles can access. While the public manages their favorites and inquiries, real estate agents have access to an expanded view, seeing internal data that remains hidden from regular visitors.
